One of the traditional Galician dishes is Pulpo — tender octopus topped with olive oil, salt, and Spanish smoked paprika. You should definitely try it at the restaurant Pulpeira de Melide, which is named after the village of Melide, where this dish typically comes from. Its price is around 12 euro, and it’s worth it. Don't forget to ask for cachelos (boiled potatoes with pimentón). You will not regret it!

If you don’t want to wake up early, visit the chain at the Plaza de Lugo. Here, the fishmongers prepare the fish and sell it to the general public. The fishmongers sell their wares on the lower level, while upstairs, you can find other food like meats and cheeses.

Just a 10-minute drive south of the coast by car, and you’ll reach your destination. There you will find a huge variety of stores from fashion and accessories to sporting goods and books and toys. Also, it features Galicia’s biggest range of clothing and fashions (Zara, H&M, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Bershka, El Corte Ingles, Primark, Levi's, Guess, etc.) If you are by car, you can leave it in the free underground parking area. Also, you can get there by bus 11 that costs around 2 euro one way.
