Oman is an interesting country in Asia, with a lot of places to visit.
Not only is Muscat the capital city, but it is also one of the most popular tourist destinations by far.

There are many international airports in Oman where you can land and the biggest one is Muscat International Airport (MCT).
Oman doesn’t use Euro or US dollar, we recommend you to exchange cash before your trip for the best rates. Although credit and debit cards are also universally accepted throughout the country, having cash and coins on you is still recommended.
Oman has a population of 4.83 million inhabitants.
The only official language in Oman is Arabic. Whilst the largest part of individuals speak Arabic, it is usual to hear people speaking in English, Baluchi, Bengali, Urdu, Hindi – these are the languages most spoken in Oman.
Oman shares borders with Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Oman has a tropical climate. If you are going from Europe where the climate is more temperate, it would be nice to to pack light clothes made out of breathable materials.
