Prague Orloj is an astronomical clock on a tower in Old Town Square. It was installed in 1410 and is the oldest working astronomical clock in the world. Every hour, four figures on its sides begin to move, symbolising human vices.
In Prague, cannabis is partly legalised
Marijuana is partly legalised in the Czech Republic. It is allowed to keep (up to 15 grams) and use it. Pharmacies are allowed to sell medical marijuana, but you can’t buy it at any shop in Prague.
Admire a Spanish synagogue in Prague in an amazing neo-Moorish style
The Spanish synagogue is in the Jewish quarter of Josefov. It was built in 1868 on the site of the oldest synagogue in Prague. Its original neo-Moorish style distinguishes the building; there is a small museum inside, social events and organ concerts are also held here.
