Prague travel tips

1) The airport and the Prague centre are connected by a shuttle bus

Prague Airport is located 18 km from the city centre and is easily accessible. In particular, you can take a Cedaz shuttle bus which runs from Republic Square from 7:00 to 19:00 and costs 200 CZK. You can also buy a ticket for the regular bus 100 or 119, which will take you to the metro. The ticket will cost 30 CZK. Alternatively, you can take the Airport Express bus to the main train station (60 CZK).

2) Euro and dollar are rarely accepted in Prague

The official currency in the Czech Republic is koruna. Though some luxury stores may accept dollar and euro, local shops and grocery stores accept only korunas, not to mention public toilets and street food strolls.

3) In Prague, you can use free Wi-Fi at public transport stops

There is no need to pay for Internet roaming in Prague — there are many points around the city where you can connect to free Wi-Fi. For example, the Internet is distributed by public transport stops.
