Carondelet Park is the third largest park in St. Louis. It covers 70 hectares and is located in the southeastern part of the city. There are two lakes in the park, which are great for fishing. Also, the park is equipped with playgrounds for active games: tennis courts, softball, football, and baseball fields.
Although hotel prices in St. Louis are roughly the same throughout the year (around $100 per night), they can go up slightly when the Cardinals play at home. To save money and avoid crowds of sports fans, it is better to plan your trip to St. Louis in the offseason or when the Cardinals are playing in other cities.
