A Coruña travel tips
1) Learn more about world-class gold beer at MEGA Mundo Estrella Galicia Museum in Coruna
Visit the Estrella Galicia museum to try different types of beer and learn more about the brewing process. The tickets cost $36.84 per adult and include a guided tour by experts. The museum is built on factory grounds and filled with interesting information on the history, raw materials, and beer production. The beer tour in Coruna consists of 8 sectors, including visits to the Origins of Beer, Raw Materials to make beer, Production Process, Packaging and Distribution, Advertising and Sponsorship, and the Tasting Room as the pleasant bonus at the end.
2) Buy fresh fish at the Plaza de Lugo — a market in Coruna
If you don’t want to wake up early, visit the chain at the Plaza de Lugo. Here, the fishmongers prepare the fish and sell it to the general public. The fishmongers sell their wares on the lower level, while upstairs, you can find other food like meats and cheeses.
3) Go shopping in the commercial and industrial district of Coruna — Marineda City
Just a 10-minute drive south of the coast by car, and you’ll reach your destination. There you will find a huge variety of stores from fashion and accessories to sporting goods and books and toys. Also, it features Galicia’s biggest range of clothing and fashions (Zara, H&M, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Bershka, El Corte Ingles, Primark, Levi's, Guess, etc.) If you are by car, you can leave it in the free underground parking area. Also, you can get there by bus 11 that costs around 2 euro one way.
