Renne has its own restaurant etiquette, and here is a piece of advice for you: if you are going to eat out in some decent place in Rennes, take a little evening dress with you since some upscale restaurants demand a dress code. Also, while making your order, bear in mind that cheese can only be added with wine. Try not to mix cheese with other drinks in one order so that you will not be considered bad-mannered.

Having a large size, the Thabor park in Rennes combines a French garden, an English garden, a botanical garden, basins and waterfalls and a rose garden with more than 2,000 varieties of roses. Walking with children, you can go to the playgrounds. Keen on sport? The park has a 1.5 km long running track. If you attend this park in summer, you will watch music and dance shows every Sunday evening.

It is hardly noticeable, but in many houses of Rennes, in courtyards and on the streets, you can come across small figures of radishes. They hang on the walls, windows, stick out of the ground. It is a sort of prank of a resident Ara Furlukin, who is fond of radishes and in every possible way promotes it, making a kind of flashmob. His goal is to place 1000 radishes in different types in the city. For now, he has placed about 700 radishes. Take a photo of each radish and try to count how many you met.
