The Maspalomas Dunes are an absolute must-visit while coming to Gran Canaria. They are situated 57 km away from Las Palmas, by car it takes 40 minutes to reach the destination. This is a unique park with a huge area, divided into two zones: sand dunes in constant motion and La Charca lagoon with seawater separated from the ocean by a narrow line of land. Considering that cars are forbidden there, you can move around the territory only by camel or on foot.
