Admire beautiful art glass
Boise Art Glass really has some wonderful pieces of colourful hand-blown glass for you to see and the chance to watch the glassblowers at work. The fun really begins because you have the opportunity to create your own piece of craft glass using a blowtorch. Boise Art Glass is situated at 1124 West Front Street and is open Monday — Saturday 10.00 — 6.00 p.m.
Come face to face with a sturgeon!
If you are out enjoying the Boise River Greenbelt at its eastern end, you will find the MK Nature Centre, which is well worth exploring. There are woodland trails to complete, and these are amongst streams and ponds, which are full of fish. Special viewing panels have been fitted into the side of the ponds so that you can watch sturgeon, salmon, and trout swimming around.
Watch the night glow spectacularly
The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic began in 1991 and is certainly an amazing sight to see. 40 hot air balloons gracefully float above the city. Most spectators gather to watch the balloons in Ann Morrison Park as it has the best vantage point.
