Boise travel tips
Head to Downtown Boise
The central part of the city is situated just north of the river and is also the central business district. There are plenty of places to visit, including the Idaho State Capitol building, the zoo and the Albertsons Stadium — home to the Boise State Broncos (football). There are plenty of shops and some great restaurants to enjoy, too.
Discover an underwater world
The Aquarium of Boise is the perfect place for family fun, and it is unusual in the fact that it offers plenty of hands-on fun, including a series of ‘touch tanks,’ where you can touch crabs, starfish and even a large ray. The Aquarium is large, covering 10,000 square feet, with numerous tanks containing various fish and one full of octopuses. There is also the chance to spend time in the shark nursery! There is also an aviary on site.

Roller skating is enjoying a well-deserved renaissance at the moment, so what better place to rekindle your love for skating or to give it a go than at the Travel Valley Roller Skate Centre? The centre is at 4712 West State Street. There is a new rink and fun for all the family with good music, skate hire and food options, too.
