Spend time browsing in the main market
If you enjoy wandering in markets, the Capital City Public Market is ideal as it showcases local products. The market is held in West Bannock Street and has been a major attraction in Boise for more than 25 years. The market covers four blocks and has more than 150 stalls selling all types of local produce. The market is open Wednesday evenings between 5.00 — 8.00 p.m. and Saturdays 09.00 — 2.00 p.m., and there is often live music to enjoy while you shop!
Take in a game!
The Albertsons Stadium is located at Boise State University and is the location for many significant sports events during the year — especially track and field ones. The popular Idaho Potato Bowl Championship (American football) is held at the stadium in December/January. If there is the opportunity to go along to a football game, it is a fun experience. With a capacity for more than 35,000 spectators, the atmosphere is electric! Albertsons home team is the Broncos.
