If you arrive at Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) in Madrid, which is also the largest airport in the country, and you’re going to any other city, no worries. It takes a maximum of several hours to get to any city within the country.

Spain has a Mediterranean climate which is the same as in some countries of Europe. If you travel to Spain during the summer holidays, then you don’t need to pack warm clothes with you as the weather is usually pleasant and sunny. Although if you are arriving in August, you might want to pack a light sweater with you as it can get a bit chilly in the evenings. Nevertheless, when you’re visiting Spain it’s better to check the weather forecast before your trip to be prepared for any situation.
