See the Great Mill, one of the oldest surviving building in Gdansk
The Great Mill was founded in the 14th century by the Knights of the Teutonic Order. At that time, it was the largest mill in Europe. The building was used for its intended purpose until the 1990s! Later it housed a shopping centre, and now it undergoes restoration. A small park and a channel nearby make it a great place to have a rest.
Go fishing in the Gdansk Bay
The Tricity area (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) offers some attractions for fishing enthusiasts. You can catch salmon, sea trout and garfish here. For several hundred euro, a small group of fishermen can rent a boat with fishing equipment and an English-speaking guide for a daily trip. The customers of such trips can even prepare a meal with their trophies with a professional cook! Note, however, that autumn and winter fishing conditions are suitable only for extreme fans.

The museum was opened in 2014 on the edge of the Gdansk shipyards. It is devoted to the history of Polish opposition to Communism. The permanent exposition has nearly 1,800 exhibits and occupies the two floors of the building. It can tell you a lot about Solidarność, the famous Polish trade union, and civil resistance movement. Note that you will need at least two or three hours to see everything
