My baggage is lost or damaged

If your baggage is lost or damaged please reach out to the carrier.

It's best to report any damage before you leave the airport, so that you have proof.

First, find the airline or lost baggage counter and show them your baggage tag reference number. It’s usually on a sticker which they placed on your boarding pass or passport.
They might also ask for your PNR number. You’ll find it on your boarding pass or e-ticket.

If your baggage is lost or delayed, the carrier should take your address and deliver the bag to you once it turns up. If it’s damaged, ask them about their coverage before you pay for any repairs.

If you have any travel insurance, check the details or contact the provider to see if they offer any reimbursement.

If you added Blue Ribbon Bags protection, contact them as well. They’ll help you track your baggage and reimburse you if it doesn't arrive within 96 hours.
